5-Day Intensive Experiential Workshop for DBR Practitioners

Martin Warner returns to Toronto, Canada to offer a profound opportunity for personal and professional learning and growth to DBR practitioners through the work of FM Alexander!

In this workshop Martin will share his masterful understanding of Alexander Technique (AT) from which he was inspired to create the AT interweaves for DBR. The AT Interweaves provide a powerful adjunct to DBR work and together we will explore the interweaves and deepen our capacity to attune to the innate healing capacity of ourselves and our clients. The iterative and experiential nature of this workshop is designed for both experienced practitioners of DBR-AT and those newer to this practice. Those who have worked with Martin understand that the learning doesn’t end, it only deepens.

Through interactive conversation, demonstrations and triadic practice we will:

  • Learn the principles behind the highly specialised AT interweaves to use with the DBR model to clear bracings and armouring and move people towards a new experience of relatedness.

  • Explore and create change in our own bodies and in those of our clients.

  • Cultivate skills in both observation and self-observation.

  • Learn how the application of FM Alexander's principles invites a state of being rather than doing.

  • Participate in a workshop environment that fosters deep individual and group transformation.

We intend to create an intimate and supportive learning environment to support everyone’s work. Practice groups will be formed according to experience. This unique opportunity for both personal growth and the development of new or enhanced clinical skills is rare and we are delighted to be able to share it with both new and returning participants. The number of participants will be limited to maximize learning and individual attention. Our downtown Toronto location situates you near everything Toronto has to offer.
