3-Day in person AT Interweave Advanced Intensive to enhance the DBR Process
AT- INTERWEAVES TO ENHANCE THE DBR PROCESS with
Martin Warner & Fern Banner
3 Day In-Person DBR/AT Somatic Interweaves Advanced Intensive
Dates: 27, 28, 29 September 2024 8:45 am - 5:30 pm daily EST
Location: Chelsea Hotel, 33 Gerrard Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This specialized advanced intensive will train mental health professionals in observation skills, to help identify physical movements in the head/body relationship as part of the DBR process, linked into brain circuitry, pertaining to bracing against shock, armouring against affect, and armouring against core pain. Deepening the practitioner's attunement to their own process and, subsequently, to their client's process. This is a cutting edge, somatic based methodology to healing trauma.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
We aim to create a safe environment in which participants can begin to understand the important roles that the TRAINING of Observation, Self-Observation, and Self-Analysis play in being able to design effective AT-Interweaves that result in constructive and consistent clinical outcomes which enhance and further the DBR process.
Participants will learn how through releasing their own head/ body relationships from historic trauma related bracings and amourings they are able to more accurately analyze the conditions present in their client's head/body relationship and start to be able to articulate in 'language' WHAT it is that is being seen and HOW this links in to the neuroscientific underpinnings of the brain circuitry involved in the DBR process.
To provide repeated experience of how fundamental constructive changes in the Therapist's head/body relationship RESULTS in a marked change in the attunement to their own process and subsequently to the attunement of their client.
To experience the transformational synergistic shifts that take place in the collective group experience as the group increasingly moves more towards a Collicular Group Self.
To fundamentally assist Practitioners and their clients in Orienting TOWARDS full healing.

Past Workshops
Northumberland

This 3-day Workshop was highly successful, with all participants going through profound changes in their inner lives, which were clearly mirrored in the visible changes in their outer shaping of themselves. Some participants attended all three days, others attended one or two days. A great deal of fun was had by all and everyone has already signed up for our next workshop on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of July 2023.
